Cavagnac Lake has a choice of 16 swims, 13 accessible by path and 3 by boat. Everything has been done so that they are all productive, with carefully placed lily pads to enable the fish to move freely around the lake. Click the images below to find out more about each swim.
A 13-minute video tour showing all swims around the lake
Carp love the lilies surrounding the Channel and the big long line of pads on the other side of it. This is the quietest, safest part of the lake, where they usually relax. The Channel swim also provides natural food and a nice amount of sun exposure. We often get our most illusive fish caught here.

Its depth varies from 3 to 9 feet with hard floor all the way along the two margins and a silty ground in the middle. It’s a one man swim located not far from the entrance of the lake. It’s cut off from the other swims and is generally where carp pass seeking the quietest part of the lake. Lily pads on each side and opposite along the margins maximize your chance of catching fish.
